Highlights of the trip include some of the most significant sites in the Mediterranean world including:

• Philippi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site including a theatre and several Christian Basilicas. The apostle Paul visited the city in 49/50 AD.

• Pella, the ancient capital of Macedonia and Thessaloniki, home to an early church established by Paul.

• Meteora, home of ancient Orthodox monasteries perched atop towering sandstone pillars.

• Delphi, the religious center of the Greek world where we will walk the Sacra Via to the Athenian Treasury, the theatre, and the Temple of Apollo.

• Corinth, a major Roman seaport and home to the congregation Paul served. There we’ll visit the ancient city forum as well as the Acrocorinth that towers over the ancient ruins.
